This looks like a similar sign in Downtown Ottawa, Canada. Going down Sussex Street, the Byward Market is to the right, and the Museum of Civilization is straight across the bridge into Gatineau Quebec. If this is where the sign is from, I have been remiss in my powers of observation, as I’ve seen it a thousand times.
